What do you like best- indoors or outdoors?

I have a problem with my fingers freezing up, so even though some clubs can be pretty cold, I still prefer it to the outdoors. I get cold really easily, and the wind can make it worse even if it isn't actually cold.

I also don't like outdoors because I have problems seeing the lights on my pedals, so I can sometimes get into some weird sound when I don't mean to by having bad combinations of my effects on.

Outdoors can be good because you can usually get a bigger crowd (football stadiums are especially cool to play in!) but if not enough people show up, it can be depressing seeing all of that empty space.

So, what are the opinions of everyone else?

Call me old school, but I prefer the indoor setting. There are too many x factors in the outdoor setting (sound being off, weather being off, wind blowing into microphones, damage to equipment from the elements, etc) Outdoor shows can be fun but I prefer an indoor show. Indoor shows never have those problems. They go on no matter what the weather. The sound is usually consistent after sound checks but most importantly there is no dust blowing into my mouth, eyes, or equipment (Ron Stephens Stadium!)

Oh ya, the sound is something that even bothers me to listen to. It can be disorienting when the wind gets swirly and it almost sounds like your ears are popping or something.

Besides, at outdoor shows everyone is eating hot dogs and chicken and al kinds of food that really stinks. I don't like that either.
